You Can't Win Them All

Oregon State lost their first game of the season this weekend as they took on the Washington Huskies in Seattle. It was a bummer but I got over the loss pretty quick(like before I left the field) Probably because I felt like I had some good images to post, and that always make me feel good so I wasn't going to let the loss get me down. Other than that there really isn't much to comment on. A five hour drive up and back, shoot the game in the middle. That was pretty much it. So here are a few photos from the game and for more images from this season feel free to visit my website.

Silver Falls

Yesterday I took a trip up to Silver Falls State Park after class with a friend of mine to try capture a little of the fall color. Not the most successful trip from a photo standpoint but there is nothing wrong with quality time with good people in not so common places.

Six Down, Seven To Go

We are basically half way through the OSU football season and the team is undefeated. Not something I would have predicted at the beginning of the season when I was asked to cover the team both home and away. I have to admit I feel like I'm slacking a bit and need to pick it up because this has been a special season for the Beavers and I need to take photos that are equally special. So this weekend when the Beavers take on the Washington Huskies you can expect the best set of photos this season.

Mt Hood at 2AM

Last night a friend of mine and I took a quick trip up to Trillium Lake near Mt. Hood for a little night photography. Each frame took about 45 minutes to expose so catching a little sleep in the car while waiting helped to pass the time. We were there for about 3 hours and I came home with 3 frames. It's a time consuming process but I'm looking forward to doing it again in the near future.

The Beavs Get Their Fourth

This past weekend the Oregon State Beavers managed to get their forth strait win improving their record to 4-0 on the season. This season I'm traveling with the team, and with the Beavs getting their forth win it means that this was my forth game photographing them. Trying to come up with new, fresh photos every weekend is beginning to get harder, but with great light in Reser stadium this weekend it was hard to take a bad photo. Couldn't have asked for a better day to shoot football in Corvallis.
